When You’ve Tried “Everything” But Still Don’t Feel Settled

You’ve watched medications stack up without real clarity.

Or you’re a parent who’s tired of second-guessing everything you hear or read.

You want a doctor, not a middleman.
You want someone who explains the “why,” not just writes the prescription.
You want to know the cost upfront.
You want to be seen within weeks, not months.

And you’re willing to invest in care that treats you like a thinking, capable person, not a billing code.

What Changes When Care Is Done With Mindful

  • You understand your diagnosis instead of fear it.
  • You know why a medication is (or isn’t) being used.
  • Your child isn’t “drugged up.” They’re supported with structure and precision.
  • You feel calmer because there’s a plan.
  • You feel empowered because you’re educated.
  • You feel like yourself, not flattened, numbed, or chemically overcorrected.

Over time, appointments become less frequent because you feel better; saving you time and money.

That’s the goal: fewer meds, lower doses, shortest appropriate duration with your long-term autonomy in mind.

Psychiatry Care Actually Works

Direct Access to a Psychiatrist

No nurse practitioners. No physician assistants. No insurance gatekeepers. You work directly with a physician trained for over 10,000 hours in psychiatric medicine.

Front-Loaded Education and Precision

We take time upfront: Comprehensive review. Clear explanation. Thoughtful prescribing. Supportive therapy and CBT are standard. Behavior therapy, ACT, and ART are available when appropriate.

Integrative and Gut-Informed Psychiatry

A healthy gut improves how supplements, vitamins, and medications work. “Gut psychiatry” includes reviewing nutrition, micronutrients, and overall gut health to improve absorption and response.

You are our #1 focus, not pleasing insurance reps or fighting Dr. Google.

What Our Patients Are Saying

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

No. Since 2014, we’ve centered patients, not insurance companies. This lets us provide the most effective, helpful care we can. We’re free from pressure from insurance companies to do things a certain way, and that’s a good thing. With that said, we provide documentation and tools to help you use out-of-network benefits.

How quickly can I be seen?

Typically within 1–2 weeks. Most other psychiatry practices can take four months to get your first appointment, but you’re our focus. We’ll get you seen quickly.

Do you treat children and adults?

Yes. Children (3–17) and adults (18–65).

What issues do you not treat?

We tend to refer out for DBT therapy, eating disorders, personality disorders, and major substance abuse. However, our psychiatrists are trained to treat every mental health disorder in the DSM-5, and once you submit a contact form, you’ll get our tailored matching service.

Are you medication-heavy?

No. Our standard is the lowest effective dose for the shortest appropriate time (and sometimes no medication at all).

Who is this not for?

If you’re seeking insurance-based care or a quick prescription without a comprehensive evaluation, we’re likely not the right fit.

Do you only prescribe medication?

No. We provide psychotherapy and integrative approaches alongside responsible medication management.

Who is this practice best suited for?

Adults and caregivers who value physician-level care, transparent pricing, direct access, and thoughtful treatment and who are prepared to invest in quality.

How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Use the contact form on this page and tell us a bit about your concerns. Then we’ll reach out and schedule an intake appointment with you. We look forward to supporting your mental health journey!

What if I want to explore options before starting medication for my child?

That is a common and appropriate request. We provide comprehensive evaluations and discuss all reasonable options before making recommendations.

Invest in Care That’s Built to Reduce Dependence on Medication

The goal of psychiatric treatment is not to accumulate medications.
